Concentrating on Only the Important Things…
In the movie Liar Liar, we are presented with a Jim Carrey who cannot lie due to the birthday wish of his shitty little kid. He goes through the rest of the movie not lying, save for one point in which his secretary told him about a burglar who sued her friend. Jim Carrey’s character states that he could have gotten the burglar more, then begs her not to leave, claiming ‘I didn’t understand the question’. This is clearly a lie.
I think about this several times a week, and I can’t explain why.
